Paint and Stain
There is no standard finish at CMD Cabinetry – we apply a custom finish for whatever the design demands. Whether you want a painted look or a warm natural tone, there are no limitations.
For paint, we can match any color you show us. Bring us an object you love – like a fabric swatch or a flower – and we’ll put that hue on your cabinets. We also can precisely match the new work to any existing cabinets that will stay in the room.
For stain, we can help you select the right shade to bring out the natural beauty of the wood grain. We also do glazes, a hand-applied technique for an antique look.
Our meticulous, multi-step finishing process is designed for optimal beauty and to withstand wear and tear and changes in humidity. Any finish is possible, but we recommend a conversion varnish (clear or pigmented) for the most beautiful look and feel and for a durable, long-lasting finish.
